Establish available inventory and its owner
CRM and inventory integration can carry the vehicle context into the sales process. Establish one approved record for vehicle ID, make, model, year, mileage, price and sales status. A photographed vehicle is not necessarily still available. Assign responsibility for changing a listing and for stopping or updating advertising after a sale, before buying more traffic.
Redirecting a sold vehicle silently to an unrelated model breaks the visitor’s expectation. Explain availability on the page and offer similar vehicles only when the alternatives are current and relevant. In a controlled environment, the inventory owner changes a sample status and the campaign owner verifies the affected destination. Choose the update process around actual stock movement. A fixed daily interval cannot guarantee accuracy for every dealership. Agree how a temporary reservation differs from a final sale so that campaigns do not continue promoting inventory the team cannot offer.
Group searches by intent and usable stock
A performance marketing plan should distinguish model searches, general used-car research and searches for the dealer’s name. A separate campaign for every model is not obligatory. Separate groups when they need different budgets, stock rules or destination decisions. Advertising should use verified vehicle information, rather than attracting enquiries with a price or trim that is not available.
Review search terms for service, parts, jobs and image-only research against the actual sales scope. Consider a negative keyword in context: removing all research-oriented searches may also exclude relevant future buyers. Record the reason for each change and the affected group. At the next review, look at conversations about suitable vehicles alongside click cost. An expensive search term is not automatically wasteful, just as a cheap enquiry is not automatically useful to the sales team.
Specific vehicle
Connect the ad to that vehicle or an actually available model group. Review the destination and advertising together when availability changes.
Nearby dealership
Make address, opening hours and directions clear. Provide a useful discovery route when the visitor does not already know a stock ID.
Comparison stage
Verified specifications and model differences support research. Do not report a person comparing options as a completed sale.

Connect campaigns to dealership inventory
We can review the vehicle flow, phone journey and appointment records to define a campaign scope that can be verified.
Verify vehicle-ad access in the relevant account
A technical site audit can check accessible vehicle pages; it cannot grant access to the vehicle-ad program. In Google’s current vehicle-ad overview, Turkey is absent from the fully released and open-beta country lists. Do not promise vehicle-ad delivery from a Turkish account before verifying regional and account eligibility.
For eligible accounts, the documentation distinguishes Performance Max and Standard Shopping options, together with supported inventory and seller requirements. Without access, consider a Search campaign linking to current vehicle pages. Do not justify feed-development costs through an assumed return from a format that has not been approved. Record the country, account eligibility, evidence inspected, data owner and next verification date. That record makes it possible to revisit the correct part of the plan when access changes, without pretending every account follows the same onboarding path.
Align location and phone information with operations
Google Business Profile work should verify the dealership address, opening hours and business phone number. A targeted region, a service area and the branch holding a particular vehicle are different decisions. If the dealer accepts out-of-town buyers, explain inspection and collection conditions. A single fixed radius is not a sensible rule for every dealership or vehicle group.
Google’s call-ad transition guide states that creation of new call-only ads was removed in February 2026 and existing ads stop receiving impressions in February 2027. Assess new plans through responsive search ads with call assets. Adding an asset does not guarantee a call button on every impression. Set suitable answering hours and assign ownership for missed calls. Buying additional interactions while nobody can answer does not fulfil the customer’s expectation of speaking to the dealer.

Make the vehicle decision possible on the page
In a mobile and page review, check whether visitors can find photographs, price, mileage, year, specification and the contact step together. Images should represent the actual vehicle, with clearly identified examples where needed. A short enquiry tied to the selected vehicle can give sales staff more useful context than sending every visitor to a generic contact page.
Start with necessary contact information and the vehicle of interest. Do not request financing paperwork or unnecessary personal detail in the first advertising form. An authorized business owner should approve warranty, inspection, exchange and finance statements; avoid universal eligibility or approval promises. Use a controlled test to confirm the vehicle ID arrives correctly, errors are understandable and input survives a failed submission. Complete acceptance with synthetic data in a development environment, without creating a real sales enquiry or contacting a live customer.
Separate call clicks from confirmed appointments
Measurement implementation needs separate definitions for a phone click, successful form submission, qualified conversation and confirmed test drive. Turkey is absent from the country table in Google’s forwarding-number documentation. Access to a call asset does not establish Google call-duration reporting for a Turkish account. Verify the supported measurement against its country and account conditions.
The sales record should connect source, vehicle and outcome. Analytics may show a button click while the team records that no conversation took place; combining the records must not manufacture success. If offline outcome imports are planned, check the actual integration, permissions and matching requirements separately. The technical owner accepts event behavior and the sales owner accepts status transitions. Agree the relevant sales cycle before reviewing results. An enquiry that has not sold one day later is not, by itself, evidence that the campaign failed.
Review budgets through stock and conversation quality
A remarketing assessment should use permitted data, eligible audiences and current vehicle information. Repeatedly promoting a sold car or treating every visitor as equally ready to buy can be unhelpful. Define initial spending boundaries through dealership capacity and acceptable enquiry costs, without assuming a guaranteed sector-wide sales rate or a universal budget split.
Review suitable conversations by vehicle group, attended appointments and enquiries for unavailable stock. Cheaper forms do not necessarily produce better sales contribution. Keep changes to season, price and inventory beside campaign changes in the decision record. After a correction, repeat the original failure scenario. Budget expansion becomes more defensible when measurement and sales operations identify the same enquiry and its subsequent outcome, rather than when an advertising dashboard merely shows more interactions.
| Finding | Decision owner | Retest evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiries for sold stock | Inventory owner updates the destination | Page and advertising show the current status |
| Call clicks without conversations | Sales team reviews the answering process | Conversation outcomes are recorded separately |
| Wrong search intent | Campaign manager evaluates the query | Suitable conversation distribution is reviewed |
| Bookings without attendance | Dealer reviews appointment confirmation | Attended appointments appear separately |
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Frequently asked questions
Can I enable vehicle ads immediately in Turkey?
Do not assume general access. Turkey is absent from the official fully released and open-beta lists. Verify account eligibility and any special access. Search campaigns linked to current inventory remain a separate option when that program is unavailable.
How should a new call-focused campaign work?
Creation of new call-only ads was removed in February 2026. Plan through responsive search ads and call assets. Serving, phone verification and country-specific measurement support require their own checks; an asset is not a promise of every available reporting feature.
Is a phone click a sales enquiry?
It can indicate contact intent, but is not a completed conversation or sale. Record relevant vehicle conversations, confirmed test drives and sales separately. Do not assume call-duration reporting is automatically available for a Turkish account.
Does every vehicle need a campaign?
No. Separate groups when different budgets, stock rules or destination decisions justify it. Very small groups can complicate management. A combined structure can be considered when visitors reach relevant inventory and results retain the correct vehicle context.
When should spending increase?
Review measurement accuracy, current inventory and the team’s ability to handle enquiries together. Cheap clicks alone are insufficient. Allow for the delay between enquiry and outcome, then assess the decision conditions established before the campaign started.
