Use payment eligibility and fees as an early filter
Establish company location, product type and payment provider early in the Shopify launch checklist. Türkiye is not listed in the inspected Shopify Payments country list. Confirm that a supported external provider will accept your business, products and required payment method.
A payment-provider name in an IdeaSoft proposal is also incomplete: ask about approval, installments, refunds and reconciliation. Shopify distinguishes provider charges from third-party transaction fees, with current plan and method conditions determining the result. Its manual-payment guide describes an exception for methods such as bank transfer and cash on delivery. Do not apply one commission percentage to every order. Check who can see a declined, pending or refunded payment and who resolves a discrepancy.
Include configuration and ongoing work in the budget
A launch scope establishes whether both proposals cover the same job. Separate Shopify subscriptions, themes, apps and transaction costs; distinguish IdeaSoft packages, extra modules, setup and renewal terms. Use current official prices and written proposals instead of outdated package names or remembered dollar ranges.
Compare monthly and annual offers over the same period, tax treatment and scope. State assumptions for a foreign-currency cost, and do not assume a lira quote will remain unchanged at renewal. Product preparation, photography, translation, connections, measurement checks and training need owners. App charges may depend on usage or run on a separate billing cycle. If a supplier feed or subscription-selling workflow requires another service, it is part of mandatory solution cost rather than an optional expense.
Initial work
Separate themes, data cleaning, transfers and connector setup from the package. Give each item an acceptance criterion and delivery owner.
Ongoing work
Align subscriptions, renewals, apps and support over one period. Inspect the conditions that apply when introductory promotions end.
Change
Ask what plan and development work a new channel, language or special feature requires. A general scalability promise does not establish a cost boundary.

Sample the records you need to move from IdeaSoft
The IdeaSoft to Shopify migration checklist extends beyond product counts. Inspect parent and variant codes, barcodes, categories, prices, stock, images and content in a sample export. Historical orders, customers and custom fields should not be assumed to transfer through the same method.
Check the relationship between source products and target collections, options and variants. For example, differently priced sizes should retain their individual stock under the correct product. Prepare a new journey for customer passwords or promotion rules that cannot transfer; do not request promises that bypass security boundaries. Decide which panel completes open orders. Define the final data-delta window, the owner stopping writes and the fallback if a transfer fails. These operating choices are as important as the import itself.
Test theme flexibility against the customer’s task
Define a need for custom Shopify theme development through work that the ready-made theme cannot support. Obtain the same written clarification for IdeaSoft theme editing, code changes and package rights. Theme counts and a broad “global design” label do not prove that customers understand your product.
Request examples with long descriptions, compatibility tables, size information, unavailable variants and product comparison. Use the real category structure in mobile menus and search. Check the store-specific license conditions of a paid Shopify theme rather than assuming reuse in another store. For code changes, request version history, files and post-update verification as part of handover. Customer apps, mobile websites and management apps serve different tasks. Adding an app may leave an existing mobile payment obstacle unresolved.

Treat a local connector as an end-to-end operation
The ERP integration checklist should name the version, fields and direction alongside Logo, Mikro or another product. The IdeaSoft API guide distinguishes permissions; similarly, assess the access a Shopify app needs for its task. APIs on both platforms do not establish equivalent ready-made connectors.
Follow marketplace product matching, warehouse receipt, shipping labels, tracking and post-cancellation stock in one scenario. Which system owns price and availability? Does retrying an order after an outage create a duplicate? Evaluate invoicing integration as administrative field transfer, with qualified advisers establishing accounting requirements. A local module in IdeaSoft and an app or custom connector in Shopify can have different responsibility boundaries. Define each provider’s incident channel and the manual process that keeps operations moving when automation is unavailable.
Separate multiple languages from multiple-currency payment
An international launch requires more than a translated storefront. Shopify Markets requirements specify Shopify Payments or Adyen for multi-currency payments; with a different processor, customers pay in the default store currency. Adyen is not a generally available alternative: access requires an existing organization approval.
Ask IdeaSoft to demonstrate language, pricing, payment, shipping and returns for the same destination. Inspect displayed, charged and settled currencies separately. Shopify rights such as market-specific theme customization vary by plan; do not assume independent themes for every market. Localize measurements, delivery text, emails and support information as well as product descriptions. Have qualified advisers establish customs and tax responsibilities. Neither platform’s positioning guarantees uninterrupted or legally compliant selling in a destination country.
Make dealer sales and customer marketing separate requirements
Define company accounts, price lists, catalogue visibility, terms and order approval within your data integration plan. Describing Shopify B2B as only possible through an app, or as universally requiring Plus, does not reflect current scope. Consult the official plan comparison for each required feature; some advanced rights remain specific to Plus.
Test how an IdeaSoft dealer module implements your pricing, approvals and account relationship through its actual connections. A marketing customer group is not a substitute for dealer authorization. Preserve communication preferences and opt-outs in email or SMS workflows. Inspect promotions overlapping with dealer prices. Align orders, cancellations, refunds and currency definitions across reports; GA4 and advertising dashboards are not financial ledgers. Assign someone to investigate differences and include that responsibility in the delivery scope.
Accept SEO, support and handover together
A technical SEO audit should check existing organic landing pages, destination URLs, titles, canonicals and crawlable internal links. A template or platform speed claim is not a ranking result. Measure the mobile product and payment journey with real images and apps; do not turn demonstrations using different conditions into a winner table.
Obtain support language, hours, response expectations and third-party escalation conditions in writing. A quick response is not a guaranteed resolution time. Transfer access, exports, code and content files to the brand owner, and have the operator complete routine work through their own account. Choose the solution that proves the required workflow and leaves acceptable conditions open. Local or global positioning becomes a meaningful preference only after this evidence exists.
| Acceptance area | Evidence | Approver |
|---|---|---|
| Payment | Eligibility, rejection and refunds | Commercial/finance owner |
| Data | Variants and open orders match | Catalogue/operations team |
| SEO | Old/new URLs and page output | SEO owner |
| Handover | Routine task and incident escalation | Brand project owner |

Frequently asked questions
Can Shopify be used in Türkiye?
Shopify stores and Shopify Payments are different services. Türkiye’s absence from the Shopify Payments list does not establish that the platform cannot be used. For card payments, verify a supported provider’s business eligibility and processing conditions.
Does IdeaSoft automatically resolve every local requirement?
Local modules and connectors can simplify work, but approvals, field mapping, package rights and provider contracts still matter. Do not infer tax or customs compliance from a software label. Qualified advisers should establish the business’s obligations.
Does Shopify Markets provide payment in every currency?
The payment processor is decisive. Official requirements specify Shopify Payments or Adyen; another processor uses the default store currency. Adyen requires existing organization approval. A displayed currency is not payment acceptance evidence.
Does Shopify B2B always require Plus?
No. Distinguish core B2B access from advanced features. Review the current official plan page for your catalogue, company-pricing and payment requirements. Advanced Plus-specific rights do not mean every B2B function is limited to Plus.
Is Shopify automatically the best choice for dropshipping?
Not without checking supplier connections, product data, stock freshness, delivery and returns. An available app is not a guarantee of supplier quality or sales outcomes. Request a working example covering the mandatory workflow.
