Establish the business identity and service boundary first
The advertising scope must use services that can be provided and appropriately promoted. A 2026 Turkish Advertising Board decision addresses explicit salon identification and the prohibition on physician-scope procedures in salons. A colloquial “beauty center” label does not grant healthcare authority.
Prepare verified information about the service, practitioner, equipment and wording. A training certificate does not authorize every procedure. Remove medical procedures and healthcare establishments from this general salon workflow: the Ministry’s current healthcare-promotion explanation imposes separate, narrow conditions. Do not assume routine domestic healthcare can use paid advertising freely.
Define local demand alongside appointment capacity
Audience review should start with the real service area. Neighborhoods, transport, branches and existing customers’ travel patterns differ; one kilometer radius cannot be recommended to every salon. Selecting a location does not guarantee that a particular person sees the ad or books.
Write down the service duration, available team, operating hours and open appointment periods. Combining unrelated services in one ad can obscure the conditions, while splitting every service into tiny budgets can make comparisons difficult. Look for a reason based on different messaging, people, capacity or terms before creating a separate campaign unit.
Profile, video or page interaction does not prove purchase intent. Interests and similar audiences form hypotheses; available account options can change. Do not target children through personal-data profiling. Define separate commercial purposes for first appointments, existing clients and repeat bookings. Permission to contact someone does not automatically authorize using their record as an advertising audience.
FROM READING TO A NEXT STEP
Plan the route from eligible service to actual appointment
Review service scope, creative, team handoff and measurement to define the responsibilities of a limited advertising test.
Build creative around the actual service and evidence
Creative production can explain the environment, eligible service and next step clearly. Select Reels, Stories or carousel content according to the information needed; no format is automatically cheaper or better at producing bookings for every salon. Check cropping, readability and understanding without sound in each placement preview.
Distinguish actual salon imagery from illustrative production. Do not portray filtered or retouched imagery as an actual service result. Explain the service instead of assigning a humiliating appearance problem to the viewer. Retain permission for client imagery and reviews, and state what a certificate actually establishes. None of these alone proves that every advertisement is appropriate.
Turkish consumer-advertising changes effective in August 2026 cover disclosure of AI characters indistinguishable from humans. A digital copy of a real person must not imply an experience they never had. Clearly disclose the advertising relationship when a creator receives a benefit for content.
Environment
Show the actual workplace. Do not turn its hygiene approach into an unsupported superiority claim.
Service explanation
Describe the eligible service and what is included. Do not promise medical outcomes or identical effects for everyone.
Appointment step
Show actual availability, the information route and conditions. Do not imply openings on a fully booked day.
There is no compulsory message, form or page route
The mobile booking flow should let visitors find the service and terms shown in the ad. Messaging may handle short questions, a form may collect structured information, and a page may explain scope. None is universally best. Match the account’s available objectives and destinations to the actual enquiry path.
Make package contents, sessions or services, validity, total price, exclusions and cancellation/change conditions visible. A “free” step should not conceal a purchase obligation. Do not collect enquiries for unavailable services. An enquiry should not be presented as a confirmed appointment before the team or scheduling system approves it.
Request only necessary form information. There is no evidence here that every extra question creates a fixed percentage loss or that precisely three questions are required. Use a safe test record to verify the success message, delivery to the team and the promised next step. Do not create an enquiry in a real visitor’s name.
| Enquiry route | What must be ready | What is not the final outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram/WhatsApp message | Response owner and appropriate service explanation | Tapping the message button |
| Form | Necessary fields, recording and response | Opening or abandoning fields |
| Booking page | Mobile usability, availability and confirmation | A page visit |
| Package discussion | Clear conditions and actual scope | A price question or initial contact |

Record team handoff and appointment follow-up
Enquiry handoff can make the receiving branch, team and response owner visible. An automated welcome does not replace checking availability or a real staff response. Match response promises to operating hours and capacity; do not impose an unsupported universal minute target.
Record new enquiries, suitable enquiries, confirmed bookings, attendance, completed services and repeat appointments separately. A rescheduled or cancelled appointment should not become two new customers. Distinguish cancellation, distance, unsupported-service and unanswered-contact reasons so advertising and operations can identify where progress stops.
Transferring source information can reduce work, but every field does not need to move automatically. Preserve communication purpose and preferences. A repeat-appointment reminder and a new marketing message should not automatically be treated as having the same permission. Bring staff feedback into advertising decisions at the necessary, aggregated level.
Receive
Record the service, branch and source. Restrict access to the relevant team.
Confirm
Check scope, time and suitability. Distinguish confirmation by the team or scheduler from an enquiry.
Observe completion
Attendance, cancellation, completion and a repeat visit are different states. Avoid counting the same person again.
Share the decision
Discuss suitable-enquiry rates and loss reasons at the necessary level; record the next limited change.
Maintain data boundaries in measurement and remarketing
Measurement review examines what the scheduling system records and which data can appropriately be shared. Meta’s measurement training addresses Pixel, Conversions API, CRM and user preferences together. These tools cannot record every action with certainty or eliminate permission requirements.
Do not add health descriptions, free-text messages, private photographs or unnecessary personal details to advertising events. Event names, URLs and parameters can also carry sensitive content unintentionally. Hashing does not make every record shareable. Platform data classification and available account controls may differ; evaluate integration after establishing whether the data use is appropriate.
A behavior record alone is insufficient for remarketing. The legal basis, user preferences and platform conditions must permit the use. Do not build sensitive audiences from medical-service interest. Repeated exposure to the same ad in a small audience is not success. If the necessary conditions are absent, do not make remarketing a compulsory part of the plan.
Use completed services and capacity for spending decisions
Cost evaluation considers suitable enquiries and completed services rather than only inexpensive messages. Document the period, cost scope and outcome definition. Advertising cost per completed first service differs from total acquisition cost; comparisons require a clear denominator.
Set a test-spending ceiling the business can sustain. Margin, service duration, staff and open calendar capacity create actual scale boundaries. Collecting more enquiries when appointments are full may not represent growth. Do not divide by zero outcomes or portray sparse data as certain success or failure.
At review, ask whether recording works, enquiries fit the scope and appointments actually occur. Fix measurement when recording is wrong, messaging when the offer is unclear, or the offer when capacity is missing. Changing every audience, creative and budget setting simultaneously obscures interpretation. Do not use unverified booking costs or percentages as Prix or industry results.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Frequently asked questions
Does a beauty-center label establish the same advertising scope as a salon?
A search label does not determine authority. Confirm the actual license and services and identify the salon accurately. Healthcare requires separate evaluation.
Are before-and-after images prohibited in every situation?
No universal rule is asserted here. Examine the service, imagery, permissions, current law and platform conditions; do not present manipulated or misleading results as actual experiences.
Are messages or forms better?
The response team, necessary information and recording path determine the choice. Neither is an appointment by itself; track confirmation and completion separately.
Is there a fixed advertising budget for every salon?
No. Review margin, service duration, open calendar capacity and a sustainable test ceiling. This guide does not promise a market booking cost or guaranteed result.
Can a customer list be used for remarketing?
Having the list is insufficient. Establish the basis for use, user preferences and platform conditions; do not construct an audience from sensitive service interest.
Will Pixel or CAPI show every appointment?
No. Evaluate the integration, permitted data and recording path, then reconcile with the actual scheduler. Measurement tools cannot replace confirmation or service-completion records.
