Review seven candidates against different needs
The tasks involved in store management give the shortlist a practical basis. Ask about the package and additional services offered for Shopify, ikas, IdeaSoft, Ticimax and T-Soft. Plan hosting and software maintenance separately for WooCommerce. Evaluate payment eligibility before investing in Webflow design.
This table is not a performance ranking. Answer each candidate’s question using an actual product and order example. A capability can exist within the provider’s product family without being active in your proposal. Keep it as an open dependency until it is accepted under your account, license and provider agreement.
| Candidate | First question | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Do market and payment journeys fit? | Target-country product and payment scenario |
| ikas | What package, license and support apply? | Entitlements and active connection list |
| IdeaSoft | How do catalog and local operations map? | Variant and channel example |
| Ticimax | How are modules and product identities managed? | Marketplace and ERP error record |
| T-Soft | What covers dealer and custom business rules? | Module, API and delivery explanation |
| WooCommerce | Who owns maintenance and recovery? | Update and restore plan |
| Webflow | Is the company eligible for the payment provider? | Supported account and checkout scope |
Check payment eligibility before design
When considering Webflow development, do not assume a local payment-gateway connection. The official payment document describes Stripe and PayPal for native Ecommerce and states that its PayPal integration does not support Turkish merchant accounts. An undocumented bridge or checkout script should not be presented as a standard native solution.
For other candidates, verify company country, product category, card, installment and currency eligibility with the provider. Currency display and collection are different capabilities. Define when a bank-transfer or cash-on-delivery order is treated as paid. Check refunds, failed payments and delayed notifications in an appropriate test environment, avoiding unauthorized real customer orders or money movements.

Turn catalog, channel and maintenance requirements into comparable platform scenarios.
Compare product structure before product count
The ERP and store integration checklist can matter more than catalog size. A thousand simple items may be easier to manage than a smaller catalog with dealer prices and bundle components. Show SKU, barcode, variant, warehouse and channel identities in representative data. Avoid unsupported thresholds that assign a platform solely by the number of products.
Specify the promotional price authority, marketplace stock direction and owner of error correction. T-Soft’s solution family includes B2B and integration modules, but that does not establish that every package covers your requirement. Ask IdeaSoft, Ticimax and ikas for the same scope distinction. Request an order mapped to the correct variant and a visible failure record rather than accepting connector logos.
Read prices alongside purchase and renewal periods
A store operations budget includes content, support and data-preparation time beyond software. The ikas package page is a starting point for current entitlements and commercial terms; read a monthly display alongside the purchase and renewal period. Apply that discipline to every provider proposal.
Separate platform, theme, application, module, payment-provider, hosting and maintenance costs. Ask whether an included integration requires license activation or another service charge. Make promotion expiry, tax and currency assumptions explicit. A free entry package does not make the whole business free to operate. Avoid hiding initial delivery and recurring service inside one unexplained payment line.

Evaluate design and panels through team tasks
Apply the same mobile buying task to Webflow design development and other theme proposals: find the right item, select a variant, understand delivery and continue to checkout. Demonstration imagery and short product names may not represent your catalog. Assess design freedom alongside updates and operator use.
Have a new operator change product information and promotion conditions in each candidate. Observe reversal, permissions, training and editable-file handover. Ready-made themes, custom code and page builders create different maintenance obligations. Code access does not mean all future updates will be free. Keep the customer’s task and the internal team’s task separate in the acceptance record.
Request store-specific performance and SEO evidence
A technical SEO audit supplies common URL, canonical, indexing, redirect and page checks for the shortlist. An SEO extension or metadata field is not evidence of a complete implementation. Do not attach an automatic performance grade, Core Web Vitals pass or search ranking to a platform name.
Measure mobile pages with comparable images, products and third-party tools. Hosting, themes and tracking tags can affect the outcome; repeat the check after changes. Evaluate analytics orders under definitions consistent with cancellations and refunds. Establish data access and account ownership. Infrastructure security services do not automatically complete every merchant obligation concerning data or administrative processes.
Make support and maintenance capacity buying criteria
For WooCommerce development, core software, hosting, themes and paid extensions can have separate support contacts. Managed platforms also have distinct plan, app and custom-work boundaries. The existence of live chat does not establish instant resolution or identical expert availability at every hour.
Who opens the first incident when payment stops, contacts the provider and verifies recovery? Separate response time from resolution time. Training videos alone do not establish a completed team handover. Document backup, recovery, license renewal and access-removal responsibilities. If you have no technical team, require an explicit service scope that owns these tasks rather than leaving them implied.
Close the shortlist through elimination and acceptance
The international ecommerce launch checklist separates language, payment, delivery and return requirements. A brand focused on Turkish marketplaces might close its channel scenario first. Eliminate candidates against mandatory requirements rather than automatically assigning one to a business size or country.
Request evidence using the same small dataset from the remaining candidates. The final decision owner should see unmet needs and the continuing cost of any workaround. Identify which check must be repeated after a new country, ERP or theme is introduced. A useful choice is one that your current team can sustain and whose required order journey you can verify.
Eliminate
If payment eligibility, a mandatory channel or a critical product rule is unresolved, record why the candidate remains open. Attractive design cannot close that dependency.
Compare
Apply the same product file, order, refund and support question to every candidate. Keep the difference between the expected outcome and supplied evidence visible.
Accept
Have the commercial decision owner, technical owner and operator review remaining risks together. Repeat affected scenarios after theme, package or provider changes.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Frequently asked questions
Which platform is cheapest?
Equivalent setup, usage and renewal scope is needed to answer. A free core or entry package does not describe total operating cost. Review a current written quote with application, payment and maintenance conditions.
Is there one right option for Turkish marketplaces?
No. Assess channel accounts, product identity, stock authority, price rules and package access. A connector does not establish support for every transaction type or the absence of failures.
Can WooCommerce work without an internal technical team?
You can purchase hosting and maintenance services, but updates, backup, recovery and incident ownership still need written scope. Understand who takes these responsibilities before treating open-source control as an advantage.
Can Webflow collect payments in every country?
Check country and account eligibility for the native Ecommerce providers. A storefront demonstration does not prove payment acceptance. Do not treat an undocumented bridge as a standard platform capability.
Does international growth alone determine the platform?
No. Review payment, delivery, product information, support and returns in the target market. Multiple languages or currency display alone do not establish readiness for international operation.
