Check alignment between brief, offer and destination
Advertising creative production first needs acceptance of the approved offer. State audience, purpose, central message and the next action in the brief. The opening promise must be fulfilled in the actual video. Remove an attention-grabbing feature absent from approved product information. Approving the opening's appeal does not establish that its claim or the complete file is accurate.
Compare the destination with the advertised item and action. In a hypothetical mismatch, a specific product-demo invitation leads to a general service page where no demo path is visible. CTA alignment is incomplete. Conditions and required explanations should also communicate the same meaning in both places. The brief owner approves message changes; the destination owner verifies the action. A creative team's assumption cannot replace either decision or turn an unresolved landing-page journey into an accepted campaign handoff.
Opening promise
Deliver the information or demonstration promised by the first message.
Offer
Match product, conditions and wording with the approved brief.
Destination action
The linked page must clearly support the next step requested by the CTA.
Inspect product continuity across frames
AI video-ad production cannot be approved from one successful frame. Watch at normal speed, then pause around product movements and transitions. Label, cap, logo, shape and grip should remain consistent. A feature hidden by a hand must not return with different construction. Keep genuine product references open during review. Temporal continuity is assessed together with preservation of the approved item.
For example, a bottle closure turning into a pump while facing the camera is a continuity failure. Fast editing does not make the wrong item acceptable. Record time range, changed feature and source. Rewatch the corrected interval and neighboring frames afterward; local repair can create another label break. Inspect the complete returned video rather than approving only the editor's correction preview. That full pass keeps new or distant defects from disappearing between narrowly scoped review rounds.

Test sound, subtitles and muted viewing
A video creative delivery needs separate notes for sound-on and muted viewing. Compare spoken product names, numbers, offers and conditions with subtitles. Keep text visible long enough to read and avoid line breaks that change meaning. When music masks speech, simply increasing overall volume may not resolve the mix. Information heard during sound-on review can still be missing from a muted placement.
A muted viewer should understand the item, central message and next action. That does not require crowding every spoken word onto the screen. Images and concise copy should work together without hiding necessary conditions. Check subtitle timing again in the final export, because text from an earlier edit may have shifted. Review the placement preview and listen on a representative device. Successful playback alone does not verify pronunciation or accuracy of the offer being voiced.
Listen
Check speech, music balance and product terminology in the final file.
Mute
Test whether product, central message and CTA remain understandable without audio.
Match the wording
Compare subtitles with approved speech and the final export's timing.
Review placement safe areas in real previews
Channel adaptation of an advertising video should not treat a generic safe-area drawing as final evidence. Open the current destination preview and inspect interface overlays over copy, product and CTA. A vertical crop can remove a feature visible in the landscape master. Record acceptance for the particular placement and crop. Do not describe unverified platform features as fixed rules for every channel.
Keep product, wording and next action understandable together in the final frame. If interface controls obscure copy, reposition it; shrinking it may destroy readability. On a representative phone, inspect transitions and text duration. Attach preview evidence and asset identity to the same review record. Opening a placement preview does not mean the campaign has been published. It establishes the conditions under which the particular creative version was inspected and accepted.
Record variant hypotheses and asset versions
Creative variant production should begin with the question being tested. When the opening line changes, product, offer and destination can remain fixed. Changing format, sound and offer together prevents attributing the outcome to one variable. Such exploratory work can still be useful, but interpretation is limited. Distinguish exploration from a comparison designed to understand one specific element.
Give every variant a clear identity and relationship to the master. A hypothetical hypothesis might ask whether an opening demonstration explains the product sooner; this is not a measured result. The campaign owner defines success criteria and comparison conditions. Creative review checks whether the planned change was implemented correctly. Without actual campaign evidence, do not claim improved performance, lower costs or increased sales. The release sheet records the comparison instead of declaring the winner before data exists.
| Variant | Changed element | Interpretation limit |
|---|---|---|
| Demonstration opening | First scene; product and offer fixed | Record as an opening hypothesis |
| Muted adaptation | Text treatment; message fixed | Placement acceptance remains separate |
| New offer | Product conditions also change | Not a visual-variable-only comparison |
Complete the final pre-campaign acceptance decision
The final advertising production handoff should contain separate brief approval, creative acceptance and campaign publication decisions. Record brief owner, final asset version, resolved frame issues, audio result, placement and destination. Match the uploaded campaign asset with the approved file. Do not mistake a review export for the final delivery. For an unresolved critical issue, state the correction and decision owner instead of unconditional approval. Creative acceptance does not automatically authorize campaign publication.
Include a mapping of duration, aspect ratio, audio versions and caption files with the final video. At a corrected time code, compare the original issue with the accepted frame; improving a single frame may leave a discontinuity in the transition. Connect the offer sequence to its approved wording and destination-page copy. Identify the exact final export inspected in the placement preview. The campaign operator should be able to determine which variant belongs in each placement, what information survives silent viewing and who owns an unresolved issue. If the price or destination changes afterward, flag affected versions for another review instead of carrying their previous decision onto new information.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Frequently asked questions
Does video approval authorize campaign publication?
No. Creative acceptance identifies a suitable file. The campaign owner separately checks destination, placement, conditions and uploaded version before authorizing publication.
How many variables should change in a variant?
Isolate the element whose effect you want to interpret. Exploration may change several elements, but its result cannot then be attributed solely to an opening or audio choice.
What should be reviewed for muted viewing?
Product, central message, necessary conditions and CTA must remain understandable visually. Check subtitle reading time and destination visibility in the final export.
Where should the final CTA lead?
To an approved page that actually supports the requested action. A specific demo invitation leading to a general page without a clear demo journey has not passed destination review.
Should generated video be described as real UGC?
Do not imply genuine customer experience. A generated performer or scene is not a customer testimonial. Review production method and the evidence behind personal-experience claims separately.
